YEAR 2018
From the beginning, Arctic Stream aimed to be a technology company that promotes and integrates the newest generation concepts and solutions, both in the network infrastructure area (LAN, WAN and software-defined Data Center networks), as well as in the IT security area (network-level protection, endpoint protection, etc.). The year 2018 also represents the first full fiscal year completed, during which the Company recorded a turnover of over 7.5 million RON.
YEAR 2019
In 2019, the Company expanded its technology partnerships with renowned vendors, both in the security area (Palo Alto Networks) and in the Data Center area (Dell, VMware, Veeam). Additionally, the Company continued to invest in human resources, and the technical team grew at all levels (junior, senior, expert) to support more complex projects. In 2019, the Company completed its first integrated project of significant scale with complex technologies specific to service providers (MPLS), security (Next Generation Firewall, user identity management, DNS protection, behavior-based network security solutions), collaboration (IP telephony), as well as management applications. The Company also continued to expand its commercial direction, and the number of clients doubled, exceeding 50 clients, with a turnover of over 17 million RON.
YEAR 2020
Although 2020 was significantly affected by the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus, both economically and socially, it represented an opportunity for Arctic Stream, which received requests from portfolio clients for assistance in organizing remote work, security solutions, as well as maintenance and support contracts. Continued investments in promoting new, state-of-the-art technologies are paying off, and in 2020, the company successfully implemented a complex project involving software-defined WAN technologies, as well as network automation for a software production industry client in Romania, with an extended geographic presence. The year 2020 was exceptional and ended with a turnover of over 40 million RON.
YEAR 2021
Year 2021 has been extremely important, as Arctic Stream became a public company, following a private placement and the trading of AST shares, and the Arctic Stream team expanded almost threefold, from 8 to over 22 employees and collaborators, allowing us to handle increasingly complex and numerous projects. At the end of 2021, the company recorded a turnover of 51.5 million lei (10.39 million euros), from the resale of communication technologies, security solutions, and the provision of professional IT consulting services.

The first steps in the area of PNRR funds can be observed among clients who are beginning to invest in digital transformation projects.
